Every Child Matters Champion Hoodie

Show your support this September 30th! The art on the front was produced by Tamara Goddard of the Saulteau First Nation. Tamara produced this piece of art to honour our ancestors that were lost as children in residential schools, 60's scoop and other atrosities that occurred in the not-so-distant past. In healing these wounds, this art shows teachings being passed on from elder to child. The elder burns sacred medicines in a smudge bowl as she shares her teachings. Tamara and Studio's of solidarity will be sending 10% of all sales to support an important film by Chief Gibby Jacob called Back to the Fire. 

Back to the Fire is a documentary series that Chief Gibby Jacob is producing to share Indigenous leadership teachings from some of Canada's most prominent Elders. Chief Gibby was taught leadership from a young age, as were his prediscesors, around the fire. Back to the Fire's goal is to share the wisdom of our elders who stood during difficult times to ensure that their children and grandchildren had access to love, community, culture, clean water and land for many generations to come.
