Tamara Goddard
An Indigenous artist from the Saultueax Nation, Tamara has embraced the arts since childhood as a way of expressing her unique perspectives. Tamara lives with the gift of synesthesia, a neurological condition in which the senses are wired differently. Art, patterns, and geometries became key interests in all of Tamara’s work, ranging from music to business strategy to economics to fine arts. She was fortunate to be mentored in fine arts by her mother and grandfather, showing talent from a young age. Her preferred mediums are ink, watercolor, and acrylics. Tamara draws inspiration from the light and color geometries she experiences through synesthesia, along with her many visions and dreams.
